Te siento was born from a poem I wrote as part of a grieving process, understanding that my process of loss was not about clinging to the desire to see that person again, but about understanding and living with transformation. Just as nature teaches us that nothing dies completely but everything transforms, I understood that whoever is no longer physically present becomes part of a greater whole, and that my memory of him remained connected to nature itself. From this emerged these six spirulina anthotypes, made from analog photographs taken at the German Cemetery, understood here as a cultivated garden, where the forest connects earth and sky. I worked with slow photographic sweeps, seeking not a fixed instant but the blurring motion proper to memory itself. The images are not fixed, so that they may continue to transform with light and time. Living photographs, like memory itself. Nothing disappears completely, everything transforms.

Te siento.
A mi tío.
Hay días donde te busco
y no te encuentro.
Rebusco en los poemas
Presto atención a los boleros
Pero no estás.
Ya no estás.
Solo queda el vacío que me habita
desde el momento en que supe
que lo que seguía era perderte.
Te busco, no te encuentro,
Y cuando pierdo la esperanza
Te siento.
