This research project unfolds through a territorial exploration that examines the frictions between the natural and the urban, attending to those spaces where former watercourses have been displaced by contemporary dynamics of circulation. Taking the Paloquemao market square in Bogotá as its point of departure, the project investigates the tensions between the ephemeral and the permanent, as well as the continuities and discontinuities between the organic and the artificial in the urban landscape.

Through an archive composed of textiles, a sound piece, and video, the project sets up a device for sensitive recording that opens other readings of Bogotá's historical and material relationship with water.
